Just A Bit Of Snow.

Looking down the forest lane around 7.30am this morning from window, and like most years.A bit of snow and the whole of the UK grinds to a halt.Yesterday afternoon after the forecast all bread milk etc vanish from supermaket shelves by the panic buyers WTFF Schools were closed and thats before a flake of snow fell.In my school days had to walk almost three miles to school in all weathers,no cars or school buses then just shoe leather if you had shoes.

Looking out on to the back garden a lot of my Bonsia trees
under the snow.

I agree......to a point. However there is a time when "nice to look at" does not outweigh the work required to remove it......

Nothing like this so far this year.

Al,
With the exception of the startup in September, I haven't cranked up the snowblower once this season. Gotta love manly toys!

Me too - changed the oil, installed a new plug, and had it ready to go. Just waiting for the dump now!

I love looking at pictures of snow, as I gaze out my window onto a clear street scene with the sun shining brightly. I don't care that the temp is in the single digits F, as long as the ground is dry.

Not as much as we (Canada) normally have, but it is nice.
A normal winter in Southern Ontario we get that in 2 hours or so.
But it sure looks nice.
Beautiful pics padi.

Winter only arived here three weeks ago .Since then we've gotten 56" of snow here and temps have been in the single digits with below zero wind chills.

I shouldn't really complain. Places just off of Lake Ontario have been getting hammered since then This is just about an hr and a half away from me.

I kinda hope it would snow here in Los Angeles. Our mountains barely have any. Terrible Ski season this year.

It turns out we are expecting our first "major" snow of the season this week. Right now the weather guessers are predicting the major part of it will Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Naturally we are supposed to fly out of here Wednesday evening.

Keep your fingers crossed that the storm goes north or south of us. If it hits head on and we don't make it out of here, JJ is going to go into a deep depression and we can't have that.
