The Super Avenger II is 48mm. It is huge. The Superocean is a more conservative 44mm. Based on that, and how nice the gold bezel is, I would choose the Superocean Chrono.

I have to agree. Breitling is moving away from their larger watches. My friend has the 48mm and it looks too big. The Superocean would be my pick between those two. Have you considered other models? Breitling now has some with in house movements...

I would go for the Super Avenger. I do prefer the old model by the way, but that said, it's simple and sporty chronograph. And yes it's big, but that doesn't bother me

For a chrono, I prefer the B01 chronomat.

I would stay away from the SAII as it's huge at 48m. The SO chono II is a fine looking watch and at a more reasonable 44mm and that's my pick of the two. But like Neil said if you can swing the B01 chronomat then even better depending on your budget.

I vote for the chronomat b01. The SA is more of a breitling style watch while the SO looks like a omega clone.
