Avenger Hurricane vs Blackbird

I am currently looking to buy a new Breitling in a black case. After researching for a while I limited my options to the Hurricane 45 and Blackbird 44. Tried and liked both but can't really make a decision.

While I like the Hurricane so much but I feel it's overpriced and am a bit concerned to put such an amount of money in a new material Breitlight

Would love to get your expert views

Tough one! Love the feel of Breilight, love the cool look of Blackbird. Hmmm,,, I'd go for Hurricane if you don't already have an important chrono in your collection. If you do, get the Blackbird and that can be your black watch in your collection. Both are great!

I'd get the Hurricane. You'll get the in house chrono with the 5 year warranty. Owning a Breitlight case myself, I love wearing it and it's unreal how it doesn't even feel like you're wearing a watch with it on. Plenty of good deals out there on Hurricanes as well.

The price on the hurricane is for the in house movement.
Go for it.
All three of my Breitling are in house movements. Extra 3 years on warranty vs. only 2 on ETA. In that 5 year window, you can send it in twice, every two years for free service (lub, seals, etc.).

I love them both, I own a blackbird while my bro has a hurricane, it's hard to compare apples and oranges since one has manufacture movement and chronograph and the other does not. Both cases are beautiful. Follow your wrist and heart. Good luck!
