Vintage Rolex first buyer
Hi everyone,
first of all, happy 2015! I am very happy to start the new year by joining this amazing forum. I read several posts about tips to buy vintage rolex. As imagined, I understand that it is not the easiest path to build up the Rolex reference history and to understand how much an original vintage rolex could be (as I read on this great topic: http://rolexforums.com/showthread.ph...highlight=list). On top of this, the fake luxury industry doesn't make the research easier. Indeed, I came across to this vintage rolex (https://www.chrono24.com/en/rolex/oy...ch%2Findex.htm) and I got quite confused. There are different references on the photos: 1) II 6612 on the case - Ref. https://www.chrono24.com/en/rolex/oy...ch%2Findex.htm) 2) IV-55 6246 (I guess April 1955?) Ref. https://www.chrono24.com/en/rolex/oy...ch%2Findex.htm) In a nutshell, it looks weird (price, original pieces confirmed by the seller, etc..) Ah: see what you get on google map when you search for the seller (Sammleruhren Atelier Kilian-Weber-Str.2 78476 Allensbach Germany) Did a make the very min. of due diligence? Thanks Cheers Mauro |
