Service cost
Hi all,
I’m new here so I don’t know if I’m posting this thread in the right place. I have Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver from 2002. It’s my daily watch but it started running 5-6 minutes faster every day so I assuming that my diver needs service. Can anyone recommend me if I should go to UN official service or should I look for independent watchmaker. My watch has eta movement so it shouldn’t be a problem for any watchmaker. Am I correct? Do anyone know how much it will cost to service UN watch with eta movement? |

As you say, it is a relatively common movement and could be serviced by most watchmakers with the newest certifications.
Your watch sounds like it may be a simple matter of parts having become magnetized.

Thank you. Do you know how much independent watchmaker should charge for overhaul eta movement? From what I read in the internet UN is charging around 1000 usd for overhaul.

A watch like that shouldn’t cost you more than $350 USD to service. Good luck.

It might just be magnetized. Virtually free to check and fix.
