Daytona - Diamonds vs no diamonds

2020-2024 Daytonas with diamond dials are the same price as without them (sometimes less). I think they are pretty subtle and look cool. Thoughts

Diamond baguettes are a subtle and nice touch.

This is literally the only time diamonds look good on a watch.

The framed style Rolex also does for indices look like something a 65 year old would wear.

Bingo! I don't like them unless its baguette due to the setting. I like how they did it on the old serti subs and gmt's. You need to buy what sings to you.

I like that. Love a bit of TT black & gold.

The numbers at the quarter’s & half past are cool too.

The sub dials are subtly nicer than the full gold current version.

Nice piece

I only like the baguettes, wish they offered them on something other than the Plat.
I just don't care for the brown bezel against the blue dial.

The white gold with black dial with diamonds is the one I think hits the mark

I personally don't like a Daytona with diamond markers, except for the Platona version. But that's just me. Rolex makes them because many people do enjoy them. Good luck!

Well there is a reason why diamond dials are the same price or less on a secondary market. Majority of people don’t find them attractive. Daytona’s dial is already very busy. Diamonds add unnecessary complexity

The platinum with baguette diamond dial is the one that appeals to me the most. Most others I've seen, I don't particularly care for.

Each to their own not a fan of any modern day Daytona and definitely would not buy any watch with diamond anything.

+1 baguette indices look classy whereas the brilliant cut hour markers set in white gold have always looked a bit clunky to my eye but each to their own of course.
