Is this vintage cellini a good price or rip off?

This is really nice but wondering if $11,400 is a rip off considering I can get a 2022 datejust for that

Just insert the BBCode link instead of the image link, and you will probably get more replies. People hate to click on links.

It is only 26mm wide, you realize? Very small by todays standards.
And you need to make sure the band fits your wrist as well. You are not going to be able to get any links for that.

Try selling it and be happy if you can recoup 25% of what you pay...

Prices are only like this because vintage is coming back into popularity

It's practically a ladies watch. Very very tiny.

I do not know the pricing or demand for this model, but I imagine due to its size, relatively unusual configuration, etc., it’s a low demand piece

Cool watch, but it's a ladies size.

OP, if you want something with a similar style bracelet but in a modern size, then look into the Rolex 18019 Oysterquartz.

If going Cellini there are a few nice ones from the last few years. The Obama one and the 4243 are IMO the nicest. But you're not going to get a handsome men's-wearable-size PM Rolex for cheap. Best bet if you want that is a 34mm, say a 1014 or something in the 15xx or 15xxx. A little on the small side but very wearable if you're not a big fella, and there are plenty out there. Don't get the one in the picture unless you're giving it to the Mrs

Considering it’s 18k WG, yes the price is in live with other crazy prices.

But during any future correction, it will drop much faster than equivalent Rolex watches.
