I really like it. I haven't seen one in person, but it's great looking in photos, and takes on a different personality depending upon the strap.

Very interesting watch. Love the complication and the steel case.
In person I found the details to be a bit too small to be appreciated for my eyes. If I’m being nit picky… and I always am when it comes to watches, I’m not the biggest fan of hands that don’t make use of the whole dial. Ie with rare exception, I prefer when the hands go to perimeter of the dial.

bought it from well regarded dealer on TRF. Full set, like new, 2 years old. Paid $37 which is right in the middle of the price range for this watch.
Wears really well on my wrist, and has quickly become a daily wear. when in public, I prefer that nobody, except other fellow watch dorks, knows what it is. |

I have it and love it. I have yet to find a strap that doesn’t look great on it. Went to Jean Rousseau and bought 4-5 straps and they each really change the personality of the watch.

I also own own. Beautiful watch and I love the concept of it. Wears comfortably, unique complication, steel Patek. Highly recommend.

Have one, love it. I catch myself treating it like a daily and then put it back in the vault for a while

I have one and it's a real fun watch. So many strap options and the watch looks good with almost any strap.

It's a marvel - but I'd like to ask how owners use it? What practical purpose is served by knowing which week number one is working?

But I can see why 5212 was hot upon launch and why people continue to like it. |

I just received mine and I’m happy with it. The font is small but to me it adds to its charm as there are many nuances and details to admire upon closer inspection. 34k seems like a fair price.

nowadays its more like 32-34k brandnew and not fast moving. 2022 it was around 45k.

@OP, it's a very comfortable (size and weight) and nice everyday wear reference. I like also the dial's color and the way the sandblasting is made.
It's definitely an original take from Patek compared to their collections (there's a few info here if interested: https://www.hightime-reviews.com/pat...-and-pictures/ ). Its dial also allows to pair it with many strap colors which is nice to play with. @Noak : great combo |

I dont think I've ever read anyone express any hate for this watch. People either love it or like it and you can see why.
I think it's very well executed, it works on virtually any strap and its got a beautiful case and profile. It was very well priced at launch, very compelling. I didn't get one myself but I always love seeing them. |

I like it but with box n papers I don’t see myself paying a penny over $33k out the door for it. Jeweler on chrono offered it to me for $34,200 yesterday delivered to me but I declined. It’s a 2019 December dated with box n papers

Really like the watch- just doesn't do it for me in stainless steel though. When I tried it on it felt so light and 'non premium'. A white gold case would be ideal.

One of my favorites watch, This watch has a strange story for me, it was bought by my AD after having had two nautilus, and an aquanaut.
I had always snubbed this piece because it is presented with a strap that is too classic. The play of colors with different straps makes it super versatile and fun, as well as being a watch that flies under the radar. |

My only issue with it are the lugs are long and straight, and even on my 7 3/8” wrist, I found they overhang a little. Otherwise, a great watch indeed!

I love it and am considering one. Would likely buy new if so.

It’s a great watch, I have two issues with it, which is why it doesn’t get so much wrist time mainly down to my preferences: the font is too small for my tired old eyes these days, not so easy to just glance at and read the time also.
The winding is really slow going and feels tough to wind even if moving forward manually a day or two. It takes a lot of winds to do so. Easier to use the pushers if few days or more of course. A really nice unique piece though, would like to see more classic calatrava cases rebooted in modern updates. It looks great with different straps. |

I love mine, works well for my business (weekly calendar). Gets more wrist time than the aquanaut! Here is a photo I took the other day of it.

Been eyeing the 5212A ... Any thoughts on the 5212a vs the 5226g?

5226 is a time only watch which works in every situation. 5212 has its place in a decent collection as it has quite a unique complication. I would go 5212 all day every day.
