Datejust only collection?

Given all of the different configurations of DJs including size, was curious to see if anyone out there is strictly a Datejust collector? If so, what’s your favorite one and why?

I am not strictly a DJ collector. If my wrist could accommodate the 36mm DJ or DD, I would be a 36mm collector because the variations and combinations of these watches is off the hook. I am certain many enthusiasts out there quietly enjoying the DJ.

Interesting perspective! You mean 36mm is too small or too large?

Are they similar in configuration i.e. fluted bezel and jubilee or different between the tt and ss? I ask because I currently have a ss 116234 fluted bezel, jubilee, sticks, and am looking to add a tt with the same just a different dial. Too similar?

I don’t think two tone is tooo similar.

There are guys on the forum with a sub ln and sub lb

Or Tudor black bays that are just different colors

Different materials and different dials on your watches would be significantly different even though it’s the same model

Well, my only “expensive” watch is my Datejust. My other watches are under $300.

I like it because I think it is timeless, goes great with anything, is lumeless, and can do everything I can do.

I’ve worn it in the sauna, the pool, jogging, working out, riding a bike

If the only Rolex I have is a Datejust, does that make me a Datejust-only collector

Interesting! All sport models and no interest in the DJs?

Every true Rolex collector needs at least 1 DJ. Dont fall for the SS sports hype.

Did you own a 36mm? You’d be surprised how well it looks and wears on almost any wrist.

Had tried many times. Must be my eyes, I just wish it is a tad bigger.
