Adventurer trifecta or something different

I always had this vision of building the Aventurer trifecta of Sea Dweller, Speedmaster - and Explorer.

I have the 16600 and two nice Speedies - been thinking about finally getting the current Explorer 1 in 36mm.

The wife on the other hand points out that those are then actually three watches that are black dial steel sports watches. Good point.

Aside from my interest in some of the IWC watches and the brand new white dial Speedmaster - I’ve somehow developed a mild obsession with the current Datejuat 36 on jubilee with the mint green dial.

I believe that both the DJ and the Explorer should be available at retail with a reasonable wait time. (I’m new to South Georgia/North Florida, so grateful for any suggestions where to go to).

So what’s everyone’s take? Green DJ as a “dress watch” (of sorts); shiny, blingy and all things I always avoided - or the classic 36 Explorer to complete the Sea/Space/Mountain trilogy? The latter is the better story. The DJ is pretty and is a classic also.
