What do you think of the LV? Honest opinions please

I bought this looking at the pictures and then getting a call from the AD after 10 months although the black bezel was my first choice. I couldn’t say no to this and bought it. I quickly had a buyers remorse but decided to give it some time and wore it for the last 3 months. And now I can’t stop looking at it and am falling in love it. This one gets the most wrist time. What do you all think of this three handed with a touch of green?

The green bezel is a nice contrast to the black dial. As long as you like it, it's all good.

Did you imagine you might get less than honest opinions around this place?

True but if we always had honest opinions there would be no hype on forums on some models

There have been a few posts where people have asked for the opinions of others, but when those opinions have been seen as negative, there have been comments along the lines of, If you don't have anything positive to say, it's better to say nothing.

If people want the honest opinions of others, they have to accept that they might not like the answer.

I don't like the green bezel so I don't like this watch.

The LN was your first choice, but they offered you an LV?

How times have changed

It was a stroke of luck to have got this LV. I still think LN might be more available.

Almost smacks of "Dear Penthouse"doesn't it?

Congrats on a beautiful watch, OP. The green bezel on the original LV was one of the reasons I was drawn to this hobby.

I particularly like the the MKII bezel green. As long as you have things it goes with, some mention with the green bezel it limits wear. It is personal taste.

Your watch color does not have to match your shirt, or your socks. I thought we established that fact in another thread. You can wear any watch with any outfit!

Yeah, Kat is right - this - at least for the guys. My wife will match her watch to her main jewelry color for that day: either it's yellow gold, or SS / silver. However, it is rarely tied to her clothing choices (color wise). Guys - it's a very small green bezel!

I had the former MK1 green and miss it. I am considering adding the MK2 but I am not completely sure. I prefer the black bezel sometimes, but would alway get bored with it. The green always felt more special on.

Since you asked...I think its ok.
For me, the sweetspot is the hulk. The green dial sets it apart much more. The newest version of the LV has a nicer green bezel than previous ones though which were a bit odd to me personally.

I sometimes wonder if the hype from the hulk never happened, would the LV have become as sought after as it is?

I really do not care for the green bezel against the black.

I like it a lot, and often consider moving on my Submariner for this version. Don't think I ever will as I love the classic black without the cyclops too much.

I had a mk1 previously and sold it, had a black sub a couple of times too but always ended up finding the black sub boring.

I now have a batgirl but do really like the mk2 Starbucks and considering adding it to be honest
