NWA: My 1st AP, 15300ST

Just got back from Aspen where I flew in to pick up my grail: a factory sealed Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15300ST with a complete retail set double box, all books, tags and sealed service box along with a travel case.

The 15300ST is the perfect 39mm size just as Gerald Genta intended and stays true to the original Royal Oak. The stark white dial with the large ‘AP’ logo at 12 o’ clock and the stainless bracelet to me, is just the absolute perfect example of the Royal Oak.

Thank you to AP Aspen for making this experience completely unforgettable. I broke the seal on the box and had them remove some links and fit the bracelet for me. They also brought out numerous pieces for my wife and I to try on and the lovely SA there taught my wife the history of AP while she tried on different Royal oaks.

I’m in love with my new watch and the brand and I’m happy to be part of the community!

That’s one of the best white dial pieces of all time! congratulations!

I’m curious how the AP boutique was able to get a completely new and sealed 15300?

It was previously owned and sent in for service by AP Aspen. It was then listed for sale by the previous owner as soon as it came back from AP, still sealed in its box. AP Aspen was gracious to accommodate me and give me the best experience of taking delivery of a “pre-owned” Royal Oak.

Very impressive of AP Aspen to provide such an experience!
Again, congratulations on scoring a pristine, completely packaged 15300. The 15300 was my first AP and I still consider the best of their core offerings compared to their subsequent time/date offerings.

Big congrats. Love that reference. Also, very nice of the boutique to take care of you like that. AP really is a cut above the rest when it comes to service and hospitality.
