I have not heard anything bad about the place.
I am neutral on the subject as I do not know anyone who has bought anything yet from them. Terry Newton

Showroom by appointment only worries me.
But maybe I am just paranoid. |

I know of a few sellers that operate out of office suites, that do have appointment only showings. Large inventories, or even small amount of watches can total big $$--I think it's a matter of security and in a way avoiding the "tire-kickers".

They are legit. I bought my first GMT II from them several years ago.

Essential-watches 100% Legit
These guys are legit - the owner has a great rep in the business and the BBB has them highly rated. Ive been buying for years, so have to admit I did my research before buying. It was actually the high opinion of the owner given to me by an IWC AD that caught my interest. Now I usually just deal with them straight off, there's no bull*&^tting around, just upfront honest transactions.
Ive even been told by 2 of the salespeople there to go grab a better deal elsewhere when I've found it!. Both my wife and I have purchased from Essential, never had any problems,we've always got great prices and never had any problems getting our questions answered. We always pay via $ wire, and ship to TJ so we save CA sales tax which is nearly 10% thanks Arnold S I'm down in SD, and always mean to visit the showroom when in LA but run out of time, the reason the showroom by appointment only I was told is because they dont keep more inventory than they have to on site, for insurance purposes. Seems like a legit reason to me, especially considering the zip code they are in 90210, cant be cheap. Between my wife and me, we have dealt with Seth, Fred and Kaylie. |
