Hello! Looking for buying advice

Hello everyone, long time lurker, but finally ready to purchase.

I want to pick up a Day-Date, either 18038 or 18238 and have set my budget at $10K. Is that a reasonable budget or am I not going to find anything decent / authentic at that price point?

For that price, you'd be looking at a 1803 watch head only in my opinion....can be very nice on a nice leather strap.
