Up for sale is the Limited Edition Karl the Great (Karl der Grosse), Montblanc is honoring a great king and the founder of the Carolingian renaissance.

Charlemagne promoted the fusion of the humanistic ideals of antiquity with the intellectual inheritance of the Germanic world.

The delicately winding elements (barrel and cap) which embellish the Montblanc Limited Edition Karl der Grosse, Hommage à Charlemagne LE4810, have been finished in sterling silver, in accordance with the highest traditions of craftsmanship. This striking effect is enhanced with gold-plated ornamented fittings, inspired by the Carolingian decorative elements of the coronation cathedral in Aachen, and crowned by a clip bejeweled with an onyx sphere.
Medium (M) 18K two-tone gold nib engraving early Medieval pattern and the emperor’s monogram.

Comes complete with a Dark green lacquered presentation box with outer box and booklet/Certificate.
