America’s Cup Seamaster
Thoughts on the new America’s Cup Seamaster? I’m a sucker for white dials but not a huge fan of the constant event based releases

I love this new release. Color is balanced and not too flashy. And it doesn't look similar to other releases. Not at the Paris 2024 level but close.
I don't mind event special releases. Otherwise, how are we gonna see so many special and creative designs? You need the occasions as inspiration, don't you? Omega has a solid catalog of stable core releases you can choose from if you don't like these special event releases. Sent from my Pixel 8 Pro using Tapatalk |

I love the colors. I’ve been tempted with the regular white dial seamaster but this might just be the one.

As an owner of the Tokyo 2020 300m I obviously think it’s awesome. However for the life of me I don't understand open caseback with print blocking the view. If you want to put something on the caseback , just close it up.

I noticed it does have the quick release strap.

I believe it was featured on the Paris 24 SMP as well.

The deployant clasp is a game changer for this line IMHO.
I have the green dial/green bezel version, which came with the pin buckle clasp on green strap. For the life of me I could not get a comfortable fit with that pin buckle. Then I learned that I could order a green rubber strap with a deployant clasp. (Sadly, you can't just order the clasp, the strap itself is slightly different, so you need both a new strap and a new clasp.) That made all the difference for me and it's now incredibly comfortable. All the models in this line on the rubber strap should come with the deployant buckle, it is so much more comfortable and makes for a much better fit.
