You can see them on Ebay in $1750-2500 range for most part. Problem/conundrum for you of course is condition/timekeeping/performance. Tough one. I always assume I'll have to service a watch like that unless they GUARANTEE that it's already serviced and in tip-top condition, and will take a return, no questions asked if you don't feel like it's in good shape. I'd hit him with buy price of $1500 and guarantee to return if you're not totally pleased with it. Good luck!

The seller is a service shop, he guarantee it is serviced.
