Should I make the trade?

Someone is offering me a BNIB 41mm Oyster Perpetual Blue Tiffany against my Audemars Piguet 15202st + the 15450st blue dial of my wife?

Should I make the trade? I really need your advice here….

How much cash would you have to add on top? If zero, what are you waiting for? Go for it! That’s a killer deal for a OP41.

Thanks for the advice, I was thinking the same but the negotiations are still ongoing so I hope he won't ask for cash on top of it

I wouldn't. RO's are so unique...

Apart from the date on the RO I don't see the real differences between the OP and the RO.

Ok I just looked online and this watch hasn't even touched 40k. This would be the worst trade ever to make.

The 15202 is trading for 90-100k. The 15450 blue is in the 50-60s. Trading both of them would be insane let alone even the 15450.

I wouldn't put any stock in what Wall Street business analysts say.

You’re absolutely right on it being the worst trade ever for the dealer/guy parting with the OP.

OP 41 is 200k(GBP) and climbing at 10-53% per day. I’d absolutely do that trade + cash (not more than 80k though.)

Haha obviously it was a joke, they don't even get sold at 40k$ I think they are being trade around 30k at the moment max but I just wanted to have a little fun because it has been ridiculous the past week.
I even saw some ad on C24 at 100k$

for clarification, someone is offering you a 5900$ OP with a turquoise blue blue dial for your nearly 30,000$ AP 15202 in blue and your wifes 22,700$ AP 15450?
that is the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals.

even if we are counting grey and aftermarket prices, the 15202 is still a 100,000$+ watch, the 15450 is like 50,000-90,000$ on the second hand market.

The OP is nice, but its not worth what people are paying for it.

even if its the OP + the 15450 for your 15202, the numbers still dont work.

The person with OP is making a killing, and you are going to be left holding the bag.

The math is simple: the Tiffany blue 5711 auction has clearly shown that a Tiffany blue dial increases a watch's value by $6M/$35k = 185. Therefore the $5.9k OP should be a million dollar watch in no time. Get it while you can.

Great sense of humor this OP. Commitment to it is the funniest part of the ruse.
