I f the watch manufacturers think that some celebrity wearing one of their watch’s will prompt me to buy, they’d all be bankrupt. I pay no attention to any endorsement from famous people.

You’re joking??? He’s paid up to $40 million by Barilla. It’s pure advertising and product endorsement. Don’t be naive.

Agreed. Everyone else seems to be drinking kool-aid. If its filmed and publicized like it, its for advertising.

Good deeds don't need to be announced and rehashed.

Federer is sitting somewhere in a tub sipping a McCellan looking at +7 figures in his chequing.

Of course. This whole idea was hatched by Barilla’s agency when they heard about these two girls hitting tennis balls to each other in Italy. Federer would have never gone to Italy to “surprise” them if he weren’t under contract to do so. There was a whole team assembled to create the campaign:

Good for you, but doesn’t take away from Federer.

+1 I dont place my admiration on the "famous" of the world. Specially Hollyweird or the sports world. Federer looks like a cool dude, though...
