Incoming, and a question
A good weekend meant a trip to my local (ish) AD to collect a 126610LV.
First things first, a great watch, and my first of the 41mm generation. I know some here get upset with mk1 mk2 etc, so I will just say that the current lighter green on the bezel is what really attracted me to this model. It doesn't feel that it's fighting with my 116610LV, and feels a nice nod to the pre-cermic 16610LV. Now for the question. I'm fortunate enough to have a few 5 digit models, and a larger collection of 6 digit models. However even the most recent seem to have relatively limited lume 'life'. Has there been a change to the lume in the most current 12xxxx models? Mine now lasts clearly all through the night, which none of my others do. Very nerdy I know, but I guess if anybody was likely to know, they would 'live' on TRF. In the meantime I picture of the newest addition. |

Incoming, and a question
Congratulations!!
To answer your question. Rolex has made no changes to Chromalight for the six digit era of watches. Which in all honesty has minor variations from Swiss Tritec Super Luminova (which in turn has minor variations from Nemoto & CO’s LumiNova). When it does happen. The amazing detectives here on TRF will usually find the patent application and post it on here. |

I see a lot of incomings of 126610LV in very small period of time, so I assume that Rolex is pushing more watches on the market. Big Congratulations!!!!!!

Very nice; congratulations.
Can't comment on the new reference but I find that my 16610LV recharges quickly after a walk on a sunny day. Almost like it rests until it gets it's blast of sunlight - YMMV
