…so how has your collection changed in 2023?

With another year coming to an end, how has your collection changed over the previous twelve months? Since getting my Pepsi in 2022, I added nothing this year.

Thank you for reading…

2023 has been rather low key for me compared to 2022. Added these 2 in April and July respectively. Although offered quite a few but most of them were either redundant or did not resonate with me much.

I consolidated down to three nice watches in 2023.

I’ve long been considering this move and finally decided to get off the fence. So far so good

I landed on: 321, BLRO and Submariner. These three are wearable, and more importantly (to me) they are nicely done modern iterations of classic references

Yes indeed, but how many other "not so nice" watches do you have ?

I guess could would say I'm down to 5 (depending on the definition of "nice")

I was at 5 and it honestly made my head hurt … I could never really justify owning them all at once and just decided maybe 3 is the right number (for me). We’ll see if it sticks

I can't post pictures yet but I ended up going on a binge due to how impulsive I am when finding walk ins.

In 2023 I got a Bluesy, two tone DJ, white roman dial DJ (SS), updated AK.

I had a confusing year in 2023 ; I let a friend buy some of mine , He was fed up doing that AD Dance . then I regretted it as is the way with me . I had a very nice end to the year with a Celebration dial for my wife . 70th Anniversary Sub for my youngest ,Then the new White 126500 for myself

2023 has seen a monumental change in my nearly thirty year watch journey. Ended 2022 with ten watches, ended 2023 with zero watches and ended the journey. Sold all my watches, extra straps and clasps, and disposed of all the catalogs, magazines, and print paraphernalia in the recycling bin last week. It's all over and I am moving on!

You chose the red pill!

May I ask what caused you to make this move? After almost thirty years, that is quite a change.
