I've had my GMTIIc for a month now.
Today I get home and I found one of the screws almost all out and on the opposite side of the buckle one loose but not coming out. ![]() Is this common? Should I take it to the AD or just some minor up keep? ![]()

Oh no! Send it to me. I'll take care of it for you! I'm that good of a friend!
![]() ![]() Happened with my Milgauss too - I just tightened it. Seems to be fine now!

There seems to be a lot of this lately.......
But, I will have to say..........30+ years with Rolex and I have never had one back out on me.. I think it may be more prevalent with the new solid bracelets as there is more rotational friction force acting on the screw as the bracelet flexes........ ![]()

You know your $hit (I've read your other posts and very informative)... ![]() ![]() Should I be concerned? I'm afraid to loose the screw and have the watch fall on the side walk or something and scratch it up real bad for no reason. ![]() ![]()

There is no reason to be overly concerned because it takes a lot for the screw to come all the way out.. but I would check them all since you already have noticed the issue. a 1.6mm screwdriver fits perfectly..
A Rolex watchmaker would use a drop of loctite on the threads to ensure it stays in place... If you are concerned, then that is what I would do........ any AD with a watchmaker on staff should do this gratis..
