Icon10 Finally...

...Brought home the monster. I'm so happy right now

After wearing a newly acquired GMTIIc recently I just couldn't get excited about it. It's gone now and tonight I went out and met MarJnK to pick up this beauty of a watch. I love the glidelock clasp, ceramic bezel, and blue lume! The thing feels like a tool strapped to my arm and I like the weight of it. The lack of a cyclops is a bit puzzling as I am so accustomed to them on the sub and dj I have been wearing for over a year. It is true that the 'gas escape valve' text is barely noticeable when glancing down at it for a few seconds at a time.

It amazing that I so quickly dismissed this watch the first few times I came across it at my AD... I'll take some better photos soon but for now these will have to do

Congrats ! Interesting point about the text on the watch. I'll try to take a better look at it the next time I visit the AD.

DONE

DAY 2: Even happier! wears so comfortably I can believe it weighs somewhere around twice as my sub. Just now the bracelet felt a bit tight...loosened up the glidelock a touch and I'm rockin'

Let me be among the first to congratulate you and welcome you to the club! It's a great watch and yes, I agree with everything you said, especially about the text not being that noticeable.
