Does this look legitimate?
I found a local individual with a 16613 18k-SS Submariner. His stated price is $5500, but I know that he would take less. It's not a must have watch for me, and I was thinking that if the price was right, I might get it to flip for cash or trade for something I would want.
The seller says he's the first owner and that he has the receipt from the Rolex AD, as well as all boxes and papers. I would meet with him before purchase to inspect the documentation and watch, of course. I just wanted to hear from those with more experience than I have regarding whether or not there are any red flags evident in the pictures I've received (and attached for your viewing). |

I don't see any red flags from the photos except for the price. I think $5500 is close to fair market value, so it doesn't seem to be too much of a bargain.

If he is willing to meet with you why not have an AD look it over before the sale?
