2012 AP Carbon Diver

Had the chance to try one on this week

My first impression when i saw the pics from SIHH were WTF a Aquatimer because of the yellow inner ring

But i must say when i saw the watch and trying it on.. It isn't all that bad

The weight is super comfortable and my favorite is the Ceramet bezel which is pretty much scratch free.

I would have loved it in all black but you can't have it all

Anyway here's the pics of it

Love the Bee Ken but I'm just not a chrono fan so this Diver is a good compromise for me. I wonder if those Bee plots would fit this Diver?

Nice pics Thomas!

I agree with you on the all black inner ring.
The black ceramic bezel is sweet.

There is only One Black and Yellow and it has to be the First, the Original, the Legend

Nice pics Thomas. I am not sure about the yellow either. Wonder if they will release other versions with different colors.

They need to now make a blue diver boutique like my ex scuba, so I can finally get over that piece :( So much regret selling it

As for this? Definitely cool, but.... Too reminiscent of the iwc and just way too expensive for what it is... Bumblebee any day over this and for like 10k less

yeah, it is a little IWC....i guess maybe the yellow hands wouldn't work otherwise? maybe if all the yellow bits were white (with black lettering)? dunno....but, ignoring the IWC connection, i like it very much and, at least to me, it would be more wearable than the BB (no disrespect meant, the BB is awesome, just, not for me).

i do like this piece, the regular diver is defiently nicer overall, i feel the yellow in this just doesnt play correctly. the bee all the way with the black/yellow color combo

The new Diver is a winner in my book but the price is just redonkulous. A Cal 3120 watch with date that is more expensive than a BMW 1-series Coupe. Makes you think.

I'm glad that i can only afford one hobby, And if it were between a car and a watch.....The watch would always be my pick
