My Grail watch. DSSD

On a trip to Humbertown jewelers to get my recently authenticated Panerai, I tried on my grail watch, the DSSD. Yesterday when I tried it on, it felt small but today, it felt right. I was wearing my fav daily watch, the Omega SMP sword hands to see how it compares. Although, they look similar, they feel very different. Here are some wrist shots.

To clarify, I don't own it yet but with a little prodding, some sleepless nights, the urge might be too strong to fight it.... so we'll see.

Any DSSD owners out there who'd like to chime in?

The DSSD would be a great addition.

You know how this works. It's only a matter of time until you get the DSSD.

The DSSD has been my every day watch. Go for it! I've held on to it longer than any other watch.

You definitely should. I'm enjoying my DSSD very much. Wearing it right now, actually... Like you, I got the bug and thought about it for a while. Tried to avoid it, but it was inexorable.

Just buy it! I really like mine, but I also have a Seamaster and it easily has the best bracelet for comfort over my DSSD, Navitimer and Carrera. The Rolex and the Tag Heuer both taper to much for the size of the watch.

Haven't gotten it yet. Although I have been on the hunt for this for quite a while now. I really should have purchased it before the price increase.

DSSD is a grail for me as well, I'm not sure what I'll do as the new POs look great as well and are half the price.

As soon as the DSSD gets into your system....it's game over !!! Go for it.

I can attest to that. I'd add that it might be game over for any other watch you have

lol. exactly thinking the same (i guess in the back of my mind I'm thinking that once I have it, the other's will stay on the winder or in their cases)

But the search for this DSSD has not been fruitful. Tax here in Canada is 13% so a seemingly good offer price is not good at the end.

Still hoping I can find a pre-owned one or somewhere with no tax that is not overly expensive.

T-Rip I would get it checked out 1st.. the date wheel looks bad...
Not too concerned as this was in humbertown's showroom. This one was a G serial but they mentioned that they can get me a random one.

Looks great on your wrist, perfect size!

But I'd second the words of caution:

The '2' should be neatly centered, it seems way too low.

Heres one

Was at my A D on Wednesday and I must say that it didnt feel that big on my wrist. I guess mainly because I have been wearing my Exp II. I like it but will probably end up doing the new Subc.
