Very nice, brudda!

I think it's a really good alternative when you don't want to use the Oyster.

(Now get that black carbon fiber with red stitch!)

I think I still prefer the bracelet (can't believe how many people whinge about the Oyster, clasp, etc!) but that strap is nice!

I will, when I can find one with curved ends. I'm still amazed how um, unfinished the case is under the end-links. Also, it gets pretty dirty in there.

Hi.

I like the strap. It seems like a whole different watch. I also was thinking how one of these would look on it especially the black one although I have also seen a black dial watch with a brown alligator.

i.e. I tried this brown alligator on my moonwatch.:

such a beautiful watch, it is one stealthy looking rolex that doesnt get as much love as the white dial on the boards these days.

Hmmmmm. I like it with the strap. I like it with the bracelet too. I think it depends on what you are wearing it with. BTW: my 500th post.

Wow, Johnny!
Amazing.
You made your Explorer look just like a TAG!

Just kidding, looks nice, good choice. Now how about a shot of the clasp arrangement so we can all toast your fine taste in time pieces.
Any excuse for a drink....heh,heh!

Yes John the strap works, but prefer the bracelet, but IMO some watches like say Panerai always look better on leather.

Do you guys reckon a white Ex II would work with a strap, and are they easy to change over?

Yes cannot see why not but take care not to scratch lugs.Use something like
a toothpick wood or plastic. And if you use something metal, a little tape to protect around the lugs will help prevent scratches.

Thanks guys for the kind feedback. I really do like it on the strap a whole lot. But I still love the bracelet. It's nice to have a choice now. I may pick up a blue strap and maybe, just maybe a brown one down the road. I figure I'll keep it on the strap through the winter, and come summer I'll go back to the bracelet. But it totally stealths up this baby.

Hammer, they are pretty easy. I think a black strap with white stitching, like mine, would really compliment the white dial. I got this strap at www.watchprince.com and their service and selection are awesome!

I put some celo-tape on the lugs (I have the exposed lug holes) and used a paper clip to push the spring bars in. With my thumb, while depressing the spring bar, I pushed down on the end link and you can feel it move, like half a mm. Do the same on the other side (which is now harder cuz you don't have a bracelet to push against) and it'll move and pop, it comes off.

BTW, those Rolex spring bars are massively beefy!
