Transocean, thoughts?
Hi all,
I have not delve into B retiring in a long time. And never thought I would until I saw a Transocean while passing a local jeweler. I did a double take on a black one on mesh bracelet. I just loved the simplicity of the dial, as I wear suits for work, and the refined look. Didn't look like a Breitling. The black dial would complement the rest of my collection. Questions; How is that mesh bracelet? Is is comfortable and versatile? What kind of strap can I put on it if I wanted a different look? Any comments and pictures greatly appreciated as I am eager to add it to my collection. Thanks and Happy New Year to all! Roger |

The Transocean is a fine watch in any iterations but especially nice with the manufacture movement. I've had Breitling mesh bracelet before and it's extremely comfortable and very well crafted. You will have other strap options such as calf or croco leather straps. I highly recommend the croco straps on deployant.

Thx SixPak
I need to figure out what strap combo I want for a black dial. I like the simplicity of the regular version but the chrono looks sharp also. |

I've wanted one of these for a couple of years. Great retro look, great movement.

I have the chrono with the in house B01 movement on the ocean bracelet. The bracelet is very unique and gets way more compliments than other watches but I will say it's not as comfortable as a rolex bracelet. One plus is that with the exception of the clasp it's impossible to see or scratch the mesh, which is nice if it's a daily wear.
Go for it the watch is a stunner. |

The Transocean is a Breitling line-up that I like a lot! Mostly classic, understated and not overly busy styles that are somewhat rare for Breitling (IMHO). Very nice design approach overall.
Have heard nothing but positive comments from those that own one including many posts here on TRF. |
