FS; Tudor Prince Date Chrono (pre Tiger) #79280
Up for sale is my just serviced Tudor Prince Date Chronograph, (pre-Tiger) model #79280. These (pre-Tiger) come up on the boards once in a great while . . . rarely with the white dial and silver subs and in such great condition. The polished bezel has all the numeral print, hash marks, and dots clear and unharmed. Under macro magnification one can spot hairline scratches in the bezel, but not without magnification. I cannot find a flaw in the raised crystal even under magnification. This one came with the brushed top surface of the case, only the sides are polished. The bracelet will fit a 7.25 wrist and has little stretch, extra links are readily available. The crown feels great and turns the date right at 12. The Rolex Coronet is on the top of the crown and on the caseback. This is probably the closest one can get to buying a Cosmograph (Daytona) without spending three or four times as much. The crown and pushers all screw down as intended. As I mentioned, the watch was just serviced so everything works and resets as new. I purchased this watch off a reputable member of “TRF” roughly two years ago. I didn’t really miss the watch in my rotation while it was being serviced and I have only worn it a couple of times since getting it back. So off it goes to raise funds for another.
