Help with Tudor Snowflake
I am in need of some expertise from the board on this Tudor Snowflake. I purchased from a local ad that guarantees authenticity however this serial number is seven digits and now I am concerned. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In my research of these threads I am seeing that the Tudors only have six, then later five digits serial numbers, is that correct?

Commando - I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that Snowflake is counterfeit. And yes I am sure.
The engravings are wrong in addition to a serial number that does not work. Dial fonts are wrong. Insert and bezel aftermarket, crownguards are cut wrong, hands are wrong - wrong diamond shape on hour, minute is too fat, willing to bet no crimping on back of crown. Serials on Snowflakes run 800,xxx or so up to 20,000 or so after the serial numbers restart. The Es in STAINLESS STEEL also have the long middle stroke - always fake. Good news is that if you got it from an AD, they will refund your money. Someone not intimately familiar with these will compare them to the book and get fooled so it is likely your AD was snowjobbed and not necessarily trying to snowjob you. Have your AD check out this thread.

Date wheel is horrible. Honestly these kind of threads only help 2 kinds of people. the scumbag counterfeiter may
figure out how to make a better fake. Or a normal joe that purchased before research. |

As John says...
it's really bad I'm afraid.
I'm sure the AD will be happy to refund. PM or mail me through TC if you need any help. Cheers Ross

Help with Tudor Snowflake
V
That's an older fake from around 2005-09. The fakes are much better now. There are still tells and I think those of us who know what they are have a mutual understanding not to openly call them out but to assist those who need assistance by telling if real or not. For most that's enough.

I've learned that just because it's probably the most well known AD in the country, it doesn't guarantee authenticity. Got the refund and went ahead and purchased a nice Sub from the legendary Jacek. I can't thank you guys enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks everyone. Yes linesiders. That specific dealer - hqmilton. I had only read about him but now that I've transacted, I can vouch for his legendary status.

Oh, I did not think you would get a hassle from Jacek - they have a great rep. I was worried you might get a hassle from the other dealer that sold the SnowFake when you tried to return that bad Tudor.

Ahhh. The AD where I purchased the Snowflake tried to tell me they do a 30-point inspection but after I emphasized I am a lawyer, they gave me a full refund.
