Woman wearing a Submariner

The other day I saw a woman wearing a green Submariner (at a dinner) and it looked stunning. How is it possible for a watch so masculine like the Submariner (and the Black Bay for example) look so good on a woman?

I think a lady wearing a men's watch is actually an attractive thing! They have the confidence to wear something out of the norm!

I agree but i wouldn't really want to see girl wear something past 40mm. At that point its kind of pushing it.

Daytona especially the two tone is getting very popular amongst woman.

You are right! I won't make the same mistake twice. The watch sparkled and looked so amazing on her

It's not about Rolex or a price...

Women simply look good in everything. Even if it has 'mans' label attached to it.

My sub looks huge on my wife, I don't think she would ever wear a 40mm sports watch. Each to their own...

^ Where's the watch?

It's becoming the norm.. Women wear larger watches and men wears smaller ones.

I remember meeting a girl who worked at Ralph Lauren in Austin wearing a Sub. Apparently it was her boyfriend's on loan.

I am all for it only if it is sized correctly. I was at a trade show recently and a young woman was wearing a borrowed Sub boyfriend or husband, who knows. Every time she raised her hand the watch would go down to her elbow.

Same here. I cringe when I see a watch flopping around all over the place and sliding way down to nearly the elbows.

My husbands sub on my wrist.
For casual wear, I think it's perfectly ok for a lady to wear the Sub and it can look great. Of course it depends on her wrist size. I'm sure it can be too large for some ladies with very tiny wrist.

I wonder if the proverbial 10:08:20 was strategically set on her sub for that ad. We all know most adverts have the time set to about 10:08:20, and I'm assuming it's for the best symmetry of the watch face...hmmm.

Also, I always have a habit of looking to see what time it is when I can see a watch in a movie or TV show as I've always had this "curiosity" of what time of the day that scene was shot. I guess we all have idiosyncrasies!

Seeing the black sub on Cameron Diaz's wrist in Knight and Day was the tipping point for me to buy my first Rolex.
