Omega Advice
Any suggestions on which I should get the FOIS or the Speedy (hesalite)? I know one is a 39.7 and the other is a 42, but I love both.

This really comes down to hesalite vs sapphire (as the FOIS has a sapphire crystal). The FOIS doesn't really wear that much smaller than a regular speedy pro....the big thing you notice are the straight lugs and lack of crown guards (for that more vintage taste). Another thing is the alpha hands and lume pattern the FOIS has as a throwback to the real CK2998. Tough pick indeed.....if it were me I'd go for the Speedy Pro w/ hesalite if I could only have one.....but the FOIS is a spectacular watch (wish it came without the sapphire but you can only hope for so much).

I (Personally) like the regular Speedmaster more. I like its size better and if you get a brown strap, it looks very similar to the FOIS. Just my opinion :)

Another vote for the Speedmaster Pro. I think it's a bit more versatile watch. It looks decent on a bracelet and even better on a strap--but, at least you have the option. Also, the best part of the original Speedy (purely my opinion) was the overcoil balance spring and column wheel chrono in the original 321 movement. The re-make has the standard 1861 movement.

Nice options. I'm trying to decide between those two, also. I'm leaning toward the Speedy Pro because I like the hesalite look. One of those two will be my next purchase (as of now, that could change!).
