Anyone trading up to the new 43mm SD 126600 from the 40mm 116600?

I don't mind the size increase but the cyclops kills it for me.

You know you want that new red Sea Dweller print in all its glory! I think once SD fans see it in person they won't be able to resist. While the previous one looks "cleaner" without the cyclops, a cyclops on such a watch is really an accomplishment. I still can't believe they managed to pull it off.

i'll stick with my 5d SD but the sd43 is the better watch compared to the SD-c imop but only if you imagine its not a successor to the sd-c. its more of a better sub-c than a better SD-c -- to me.

Except one can't get around the fact it is without a doubt a SD due to the Patented HEV.

I think it depends what else you have...I think the new one would fit into a sub-heavy collection, giving you some diversity.

But, if I had the SDc, I probably wouldn't flip for the new one.

No way. I went back even further and flipped my SD4K to buy a 16600, the last "real" classic Sea-Dweller, IMHO.

Not me -- even with 7-1/4" wrists the SD4K is as large as I'd want to go on a watch that thick. I used to love bigger watches but they're long gone now.

With all this talk about the watch and the merits of a millimeter here or there is absolutely incredible.
Also the thickness issue comes up regularly with people passing judgement over fractions of a millimeter

The proof will be when the thing is sitting on the wrist and a good deal is offered on the price.
Then we will see who the genuine nay sayers or haters are.

I may add pending on how it fits my puny 6.7" wrists....but I would never sell my SD4k.

The 116600 is just a thick Sub without the cyclops to me (and I want the cyclops) so I never saw the point to it

Definitely interested in the 126600 but need to try it on before buying to gauge the size increase

I will stick with my 116600. I have a 7.5inch wrist and my explorer II wears large (fits my wrist but feels like a plate)... no way do I want go up another mm from that piece... your neighbor will be able to tell time.
