Never .... I only know one semi watch guy and he wears a gold Daytona on leather and thinks that's the only Rolex worth owning

Its rare that I get one. I noticed a gentleman wearing a vintage gmt pepsi the other day and said nice watch. He rambled on how he got it in 1970something for $1900 and how much the new ones are now. He never even noticed I was wearing my smurf.

Not a single compliment in six years of wearing various Rolex watches.

I'm not bothered by this at all. I rather enjoy flying under the radar.

Have gotten tons of Panerai compliments - either on the watch or the strap. By the same token I feel its easier to start a convo over Panerai vs a Rolex if someone is wearing one.

Have not received one Rolex compliment to date -- even when in close quarters / asked for what time it is.

Yellow gold DD40 for sure out of any of the watches I've owned. Just this past weekend I received two complements.

None, and that's how I like it.

If people started commenting on a watch I'd have to seriously rethink whether I wanted it or not.

My wife actually complimented me on my BLNR the other day. I've had it for a year a half.

Besides that, never.

Compliment yesterday from the salesperson in an Omega boutique on my 116613LB. Compliments every time I go to Publix on my cologne.

LV from a lady in a local shop that really only noticed it was a nice green

Whilst back in the UK a few weeks ago it was the Daytona 116500LN Black.
