The First Kansas City GTG Pics
Here we are in the great midwest doing our best to stimulate the world economy.
Left to right: 1MAC: Mike and Paige; 356 speedster: Lambros and Sharon; Bisquitlips: Richard and Leah; BLSampson (Yoboman): Bryan and Kil. The guests of honor: Three subs and two yachtmasters. We all had a great time and are looking at doing it again soon. The gals will go out shopping while the guys go to a range and shoot guns (we are in the midwest) and then go rolex hunting. More pics later. How do I post a video?

Thanks to Bryan for being point man on this mission! Paige and I had a wonderful time.
Lambros, the sub on the left is mine. The visible difference is in the bracelets.

I looked and looked for any stinky old guys but all I could see was this dashing group of gents with their lovely spouses! (Maybe the guys Richard warned about were crouched under the table?)
It's great to see you all - Mike, from your self-description I was expecting, I dunno, Paul Prudhomme or something. Glad your wife could come - that must mean your son's doing okay after his tonsillectomy. I'll make every effort to come to the next gathering! |

Thanks to all for this GTG.
Lisa, my wife is the proud owner of that YM. Sorry you couldn't make it last night, Mike and Richard spoke highly of you and your spouse. We all came from different corners of the world and had a wonderful time. No one mentioned politics....really. It turns out that Mike and I were in Desert Storm together, Lambros and Sharon live 5 minutes from me etc. So many things we have in common. Kudos to our ladies for being patient while the men lurked at the AD. I will post more pics after church. [/IMG] Lambros and Sharon Richard and Leah Mike and Paige Bryan and Kil

Again I will say it! What a superb group of people!
I also want to thank the our wives for being patient with us (especially me) as we mused and drooled over the wide array of Rolex's and Panerai. At one time I think I had six different watches out on the counter and Ray, from Tivol, was incredibly patient and helpful. I actually tried on my first Panerai and loved it. My apologies for having to leave so abruptly, but had to work on some servers during the maintenance period that I get once a week. All of you are wonderful folks and we very much enjoyed ourselves!!! By the way, after charging the battery, putting in a fresh SD card, and being diligent to not forget my camera, I left it in our car. We had to park quiet a distance away from the restaurant and as Bryan had his camera didn't feel the need to go back to get it. GREAT photos Bryan!!
