Geen Hologram: In Memoriam
Does anyone have any idea why Rolex discontinued the green hologram sticker? I know they're being counterfeited, but never perfectly. What was their reasoning? To save money? Doesn't sound like Rolex.

Why not change your anti-counterfeiting measure every once in a while--stay ahead of the bad guys.

I actually miss the old sticker, I still have my original sticker on my Submariner. I didn't like the hologram too much :-)
I agree with rocco 100%. They should be ahead of the game, be proactive no reactive. |

Maybe they thought it was time for a change. I think the green sticker was around for at least 20-odd years and disappeared the same time as the new credit card-sized warranty was introduced. Could be they decided on a revamp of sorts.
