Tudor Ranger metal strap fit a Black Bay?

Hi, I have recently purchased a Tudor Heritage Black Bay burgundy and wasn’t a fan of the metal strap it came with, mainly because of the ‘rivet’ bracelet.

I really likely the metal strap on the Tudor Ranger and was wondering if this would fit on my BB? The watches, I believe, are both 41mm.

I can ask my AD but have always found the folks on this forum to be incredibly knowledgable.

Thanks in advance

Yes, the Ranger bracelet will fit the BB.

Be aware though that the 'slabby' high case sides of the BB mean that without end-links (or a chunky leather strap), there can be quite a gap/height difference between the lugs when the BB bracelet isn't used. It doesn't bother me personally, but it dissuades some, so before buying a Ranger bracelet you might want to check how it looks first - there's loads of pics online, both on Ranger bracelet and strap.

The Ranger bracelet fits the BB ETA, so should certainly fit the in-house case, too.

Thanks everyone. Picture looks amazing and just what I want!

TG3N, sounds strange but I actually want the big gap. I really like having a gap rather than it sitting exactly in place! I’m going to buy the watch as a whole (I get roughly 37% off so will only cost me about £1400) and sell off the bits I don’t want to keep.

Thanks

I have purchased a lot of watches from an AD chain of different brands and normally get a set 20% off, plus my company allow me to purchase 17% off vouchers as a benefit of employment. I live in the UK.

Small world some great AD’s in Surrey that don’t have some of the London snobbery that can sometimes come with selling.

Glad to be of some help, and that's a brilliant deal. That look adds nicely to the vintage style of the watch too.

Sorry, I probably didn't explain myself correctly, but I wasn't referring to the expected gap as in the distance from the straight-end Ranger bracelet end-piece to the actual case, but more the vertical profile - the bracelet attaches quite low-down on the lugs, and the case-side rises vertically up towards the bezel. It's that less finished & flat bit of the case between the lugs which is exposed (without end-links) that some dislike, though I don't personally think it's an issue, just thought I'd point it out.

This pic maybe illustrates better what I mean:

Yes, they always look after me with regards to deal and service. Exactly what I’m going for, more vintage!

I see, sorry, your comment does make sense I just misread it. I wear my watch now with the fabric strap (same as picture) so see the metal you are talking about. Not bothered me massively, kinda like it. I sold the leather strap and clasp the watch came with to lower the blow of the total cost.

Thanks for your help

You can still purchase a steel “no riveted” bracelet through an AD... why not just do that?

Hi, I get a brand new Ranger for £1400. I can’t see a bracelet costing less than £200. I may be wrong?
Once I take the bracelet off, I am still left with the fabric strap, watch, box and papers.

I got a good deal with the Ranger on leather strap, I 'had to' stump up £570 for the Ranger bracelet

It will fit, but I personally don't like the way it looks without the end links
