Hey all,

Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. I sent my collection into T&H for review and just saw the video pop up. Christian is a smart guy and I agree with some of his opinions.

The haters in the comments are hilarious btw, check em out if you want a laugh.

haha, nice! I just watched this a coupe days ago. I had no idea it was a TRF person I read daily! Great collection.

On a side note, Christian gets a lot of undeserved hate. Mostly for just being really young. I actually enjoy his Youtube videos. Watch them regularly.

I appreciate his scope of knowledge in the watch industry. I really only read/learn about rolex/ap/pp, so its nice to see him dive into brands that aren't talked about much on the forum

Thanks!!! Christian noted that a Patek aquanaut would fit nice, but its really just not my style. too light.

next piece is either a white daytona, maybe a 44mm AP novelty. I'm very happy with my collection now, enough color variety to go for days. :) likely gonna chill out and enjoy for a bit.

Chad, you have an amazing collection, which will still be amazing 50 years from now. It's great to see young dudes solid into Rolex and great watches. Never sell, just enjoy.

I like Christian from T&H, and often watch his vids. He can be a bit contrived sometimes, but so can a lot of people I really like, and myself. Overall I think his love of watches is genuine and really comes through in his videos, what watches mean to him, what feeling they evoke. I think he has good taste and appreciates interesting vintage, and he reviews and appreciates watches for what they are regardless of the price tag.

A young skinny NY dude with some swagger, who truly loves watches, Rolex, and has a special thing for Datejusts, is OK by me.

Don't mind the haters, they're most likely just jealous. As for Theo & Harris, can't say that I'm a fan, but then again I'm not a fan of most youtube watch personalities. Most of them don't provide any more knowledge than what you can find on the forum. And then their opinions get taken as facts. Now Archie Luxury, that's a guy I like watching because he doesn't pretend to be something he's not, he calls it like it is. But that's just my bloody opinion.

Agreed. the forum is the best resource I've found too. youtubers just regurgitate what they find on forums, i think

hm no t & h looks like a weird american kid to me... It ain't a nerd, more of a sort of lunatic…. I like TGV much more although i am not a big frederico fan either

I think the term you're looking for is "Hipster" in regards to T&H. As for TGV his Aristocratic thing is annoying af but I much prefer him over T&H. The whole Wine and Beer drinking thing during watch reviews is totally irrelevant and screams "Hipster". But the best in my opinion is Watchfinder and Co. they're short, straight to the point, and show nothing but the watch itself. The last thing I want to see is a fat/skinny guy speaking out of their a$$.
