For current owners that initially had a problem with the cyclops, did you get used to it? I have absolutely no issue with the cyclops on the subs and GMT’s and don’t mind that it isn’t historically correct on the SD43. However, my initial impression was the cylops on the SD43 looks off for some reason. Not sure why. I really appreciate the tapered lugs and red text. Thoughts?

The cyclops is historically correct. Rolex initially wanted to have the cyclops but the crystal would become compromised at depth rating of sea dweller. Thus, Rolex did not use cyclops for sea dweller. 50 years later. Figured it out. The end.

In some ways a Truly great watch,,the 43mm, but it is just a bit big and bulky. I sold mine.
The greats of the Rolex dive watches were arguably all pre-ceramic. Although I do prefer the 43mm to the 40mm SD. Somehow, more interesting.
But I won't miss the 43mm. I hope.....
