AD says ROLEX INCREASED PRODUCTION!

Okay guys...no B.S. here … spoke to my AD today asking where is my PEPSI GMT (he laughed) and he showed me a official email (very recent within the week) from his guy AT ROLEX HQ to him stating as such! NO THEY DIDN'T CUT PRODUCTION! THEY INCREASED PRODUCTION by 5%!! DON'T BELIEVE THEY CUT PRODUCTION BECAUSE THEY DID NOT! So do the math Gents … 1 MIL per year production 70/30 mix is still current and now up + 5% increase! World economy RIGHT NOW is doing very well and ROLEX is in high demand. I think somebody is gonna be left "holding the bag" per say at some point and it won't be me! This madness will come to an end but WHEN? PERIOD. Let the discussion begin ………………………

So true.

But we know these are now selling like hotcakes too because most people coming into ADs looking for the latest stainless sports will either leave empty handed or most likely divert themselves to another more commonly available Rolex.

All I could glean from the email was production was increased by 5% or 50,000 more watches per year to meet demand… it didn't state which ones.

Rolex hasn't been producing 1M a year for a long time. So I'm afraid your AD is talking from where the sun don't shine.

1 Million watches produced per year isn't squat for the World Market. So what do you suppose is the number is then?

Ha, you're probably right.

Today, I asked my AD about a BLNR wait period and he said 3 months so maybe things are starting to happen.

I went to visit an AD today and he seemed to think Rolex is trying to heat up the market and that soon sport models won’t be that scarce. You would think Rolex would like to take advantage of the economy before it dips.

At this point I'd take any reduction on those topics.

Wait, so if there are 5% more Rolexes available how much of a discount can I ask for a 116500LN white dial, and how much will it be worth in 38 days when it doesn't sing to me anymore and I want to trade it for a CHNR, but I really want a BLRO, and will the BLRO shortage decrease incrementally with the increase in production?
Thanks for your help.

They should increase 100% and squash the gray market.
