Incoming Batman for my Pa!

We (brother and I) remember vaguely in our childhood of our dad's fake rolexes...
He sacrificed so much, raising us as middle class family, and couldn't get the luxury he could enjoy.
Dad and mom used all their life saving to send me and my brother to US for college degree.
So thought we can appreciate him with a batman. Though, it can never compare to his love, dedication, and sacrifice for his family.
I initially wanted a Pepsi, but AD was able to pull a Batman for us.

PS: We expect he will scold us when giving him this.

Great gift. Be sure to capture his reaction when he first lays eye on it. And if he does scold you, you’ll have the evidence. ;)

So great. Love this story.

My brother is a non WIS. When Dad passed away, he began looking for his gold "Rolex" diamond dial president. At some point, I finally found it with a bunch of junky stuff Dad had in a drawer. Apparently they made really crappy fakes years ago. Its such a sad example, non running, most of the gold wore off a long time ago but I have kept it as its a funny story to me...I would put the pic on here but don't want to do anything here against the rules! horrible fake...

Congrats! great choice for your Dad. He'll be able to look at it and know his investment in his children was worth it. I'm sure he's proud of you. What AD did you get it from, I'm in the Seattle area?

Well done!
