Wait time for New Subs
Happy Holidays!
I am interested in purchasing one of the new submariners (black sub date or Cermit). I am curious about recent successes/wait times? I have a decent relationship and purchase history with my AD. Thanks |

Sounds like you should ask your AD.

They seem to be rolling in fairly regularly FWIW.
I got mine about 2 weeks after it’s release. |

They are relatively easy to get now.

Really? What do you consider "relatively easy?" Any anecdotal examples?
From everything I'm reading on this forum and elsewhere, it's still very difficult to get SS Sub Dates, especially the LV. I've also read that for every four Sub LNs an AD gets, it gets one LV. |

It honestly totally depends on the dealer. I have a good relationship with my dealer, and I've spent a decent amount of money, but I'm not the biggest fish in the sea by far. Still, they invited me to the trunk show for the new models and I could buy whatever I wanted right away, so I ended up with 5 watches, including the Cermit and the new TT blue Sub. They don't play too many games, and value my business (even if it's not crazy amounts), but each dealer is different.

There are so many variables only God really knows lol. Go into your AD and be honest with them though, go in a couple times and express interest every time.

Cermit is going to be a little harder. I wanted the Blusey. I texted AD and It appeared like magic one hour later.

Competitive US city. Made a purchase totaling 53000USD of 2 Rolex watches and the 2020 cermit was mine in a week.

UPDATE: AD is waiting to hear what their supply will look like in 2021 and will get back to me. The waiting game begins...

I've been told roughly six months. Would be first Rolex from an AD...previous purchase history is a men's Cartier watch.

After being told by several ADs that they were no longer putting people on waiting lists, my oldest, original dealer had one in my hand in a week.

In early December my AD said a couple months for no date. We shall see.
