Thumbs up or down for the new 41mm Constellation?

Friends, just curious about the level of interest in the relatively new Constellation with Caliber 8900 in a 41mm case. Could it finally be time to wear a Constellation, or is it still not compelling?

Just a few photos from the web for reference...

I have to say, I like it. Especially in the combo you have in the first picture. It’s a sharp looking piece IMO, but I’d be looking Pre-owned to get a nice discount I think....

I love vintage Constellations. It was the brand's flagship for a few decades. However, their modern iterations don't represent the true significance of this watch IMO and the new ones look like an ordinary Swatch to me.

I like them and would wear them but it’s hard for me to want to actually buy them. I still prefer the Seamaster and Speedmaster line more if I were to buy an Omega.

I like the new look but prefer to spend the $$$ on SMP or Speedy.

They look too ‘colourful’ and flashy to me, like a watch a person in his 20s will be wearing. I prefer the more subdued look of the Globemaster line such as this:

That said, the watch in the first pic looks the most outstanding among the lot of watches whose pics were posted

I Ike the new case but don’t like the hands
The white dial looks interesting, I didn’t see them in person yet.

That been said I would not buy them, if I would go for one constellation will be the 39 mm steel

I'm a fan of the black/yellow gold version as well as the silvery white one above. Would I ever buy and wear one, that's a different story.

I like the dial, but the case doesn't really do it for me, and the bezel isn't really my thing either. To be honest, your picture is the best I've seen.

I much prefer the Aqua Terra's as a time and date watch. Now, if Omega were to introduce a big date watch and present it on the Constellation, I might be in.

Initially hated it but have really come around lately. The top photo with that sort of snowflake looking dial is really slick looking. Need to try this one on at some point

Love it and will likely pick one up this year however I think I'm going to go for the 39mm when it arrives. Heading back to Omega this year given the current Rolex insanity. Also interested in the green Seamaster AT!
