Great Omega service

I recently brought an omega smp 300. The previous owner must have left the crown open at some point and some moisture got into the watch. I contacted omega they sent a pre paid pack to send the watch in under warranty. I posted the watch monday and had a call today they have fixed the watch and replaced the sills and it will be delivered back to me tomorrow. Why cant rolex give a service like this to there customers.

This is why after 40+ years of Rolex, that I am moving away from Rolex and slowly gravitating toward Omega. Just common sense.

Thanks for this post, it's really good to know you could top notch service from Omega. I will keep this in mind if and when the need for a service/warranty repair becomes necessary.

M.

I have had much better experiences at OSC than RSC. Not sure the reason?

Good to hear. I have heard about similar experiences over at OF also. Uptickwatches also had a review where he was blown away by Omega service and that he got a leather travel case for free.

Why Rolex isn't as good? Perhaps just the volume .. I imagine RSC has many times more volume. Rolex has been the front runner and the leader for decades now and Omega is only picking up steam now.
