I want to like it but not sure I’m all about the off center dial/minute track. Seems to throw off the bottom half. Also the small seconds design feels like they are pandering to japan a bit. Maybe I’m making things up lol

Any thoughts?

Meh. Not loving the dial and case.

The Logical One is pretty though…

IMO dial side isn’t that good looking and it’s missing the really cool Gauthier open worked aesthetic.

Case is awesome and movement of course, but can’t get over the dial side execution.

I was going to make a thread yesterday, but I got lazy. haha

I agree with the above assessment. The case and movement are fantastic. Finishing looks to be spectacular as always from RG. The dial...I have to get use to. I don't love or hate it. I also kind of don't like the rubber ring on the crown; too reminiscent of RM (which is not a good thing).

I'm sure we will see a non-limited steel and PM version coming at some point down the road.

I love RG.

I wanted to want one of these.

Just can't get over some of the points made in this thread.

Also, I feel like it'd be nice to see RG's take on an integrated bracelet.

Case is great. Movement is amazing. But the dial falls flatter than the first Code 11.59. What a disappointment.

Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy.

I love this brand but this is a complete misfire for me.

Agreed with all those comments. I was daydreaming about the day this was going to get released and now not so excited. I adore , ADORE, RG and perhaps it will be different in the metal. This limited edition , all sold out, lacks colors for me. Craftsmanship is there and the movement looks sublime. Also, reasonably priced for an indie run. Curious what open work dials will look like, gold variations, and new dial colors.

One thing is so sure, the price bracket will attract a lot of new customers into the brand and that is a terrific idea. Nautilus or Continuum? Continuum for me.

Did they mention doing an openworked version? If they replace the numerals with anything else and do an openworked version I’d be interested but the microinsight and logical1 still take the cake.

Ah, yeah total shame this isn’t openworked.

Onlywatch version have more dial color. Would love to see some openwork dial and combination of brushed and polished case.

What a terrible terrible effort. Can you imagine this with the bezel scratched up? It’ll be like a 5 dollar quartz watch you won in a fancy fair crane game.

Pros: quirky dial, quirky bridges (if you like quirky, these are the advantages I saw)

Cons: inelegant bulky dimensioned case (including some dirt catcher grooves), offset crown placement, power reserve (maybe use space to fit a larger barrel for 70+ hrs.)

Thanks for posting the link, I was otherwise unaware of the brand/model.

Nice movement. The rest is not to my taste. I would never buy a watch only for the movement.

But offset crowns aren’t ideal

Reminds me of a term often used in my college days. Butterface. Everything looks good, but her face.

You’re stuck with an undesirable watch for a lot more than 1 night though

Indeed. An undesirable watch is like marriage, a few kids, divorce, alimony, and child support all in one purchase...

I’m still out here selling shit I don’t like right away. Did everyone else stop doing that after 2017?

I still continue to look at this watch, and I want to want it. But I do not. :(

I want more sports watches outside of the realm of Rolex, Patek, AP. So it's great to see these indies try to get into the game.

+1 same here. I keep wishing/hoping the future versions are going to rock.

I read on Watchprosite that all the examples are already spoken for before the official release.
