Date just 41 blue
Hi all,
New to the forums Quick question, What is the wait time like for the Datejust 41 blue. the reason i ask as i was at my local AD and chatting, and trying on the display watches, and drinking champagne (which was a nice touch) and the manager comes out with a Datejust 41 and said this just came in, do i want it? I said no at first as i am waiting for the batman but then i ended up buying it anyway. So was wondering is the Datejust easy to get at the moment, or is there a wait. Funny thing is now I absolutely love the watch |

It depends on the configuration, your location, and your relation with the AD, if it is fluted bezel with jubilee bracelet (hottest model) it can take from 3 to 6 months.

Date just 41 blue

That’s exactly what an AD told me too re: a blue dial, fluted bezel on a jubilee. All things considered, that’s not bad at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Depends on the AD and demand at that point in time. Some people wait >12m. Some people walk in and get lucky. And where you stand on the system relationship wise.
If you love the watch, wear it! If you don’t, leave it for someone else Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks. It was the fluted one. As soon as I bought it and left the shop. I absolutely loved it
But felt if I didn’t buy it then they wouldn’t think I was serious for the Batman. Think I got lucky |

I went for that watch after many months of serious thinking. Got lucky just upon their opening after last winter's lockdown as they happened to have it in stock.
Right timing I guess. Otherwise it's an allocation piece from what I was told.. |

That's funny I picked one up today from my AD. Blue dial batons, fluted on jubilee. I originally registered my interest 12 months ago. I popped into the AD about two weeks ago to follow up and he told me that they had been trying to get hold of me 6 months earlier as they had one in but I wasn't answering my phone. My fault as I thought it was a wrong number. Anyway, they said they had another one coming in and I picked it up today. So the 6 months wait seems about right.

I have the exact configuration and it took me 30 days to get one. However, I have a good purchase history with my AD and have purchased three watches this year. I would say keep it and enjoy it.

Enjoy it while you are waiting for the Batman then sell it when you get the call. Win, win. Something to tide you over until the Batman and you build more of a purchase history with your AD.

Congrats on the DJ41. I was looking to get one to hold me over until BLRO arrives. My SA said anything blue is hard to get nowadays.

Congrats on your new DJ41.
I hope you would not mind me asking which London AD did you buy it from? |
