Kermit price increased more than the black sub?

Is the sub the only line where the SS equivalents were raised in price differently?

In Canadian dollars, SS subs were 10.4k before I think.

Now I see the black date sub at 11.9k,
Yet the Kermit is 12.5k.

Is that right? No other line has different increases (ie. Pepsi vs batpersons).

Price increases seem to be just in-line with demand right now.

Not sure but making that pastel Kelly green is likely harder than making black. I for one would not pay more. Sub has always been black. The speedy has the tin tin, speedy Tuesday, and others. There is only one sub and only one speedy. The rest are homages.

100%. I had a 16610LV for almost 10 years until I sold it...nothing like a black on black Submariner.
And don't get me started on the green dial sub....

I think it’s more than the sum of its parts. Having owned diff versions I really appreciate the 12 series Kermit.

It seems like only yesterday when the prior model Sub was 7500 and the Sub date 8500. Not sure the new model is worth 3500 USD more.

There is an equivalent price difference in the UK. Rolex tend to be good at this sort of stuff. If they can differentiate and modulate pricing they will. And they should.

what bothers me more is I'm willing to pay the new price for the LV and yet still aren't able to get one for at least another 2 years in Toronto, all the AD basically laugh in my face (couple of them I have bought multiple before) when I ask and they don't do waiting list, like many of you indicated, probably reserved for all their VIP clients.

You gotta buy stuff and wine and dine them if you want to a chance at a Kermit. There's a lot of money in Toronto, your competition is foreign Asian and Arab buyers

Being able to afford mrsp isn’t enough….you’re in a sea of people all waving their bag of MRSP cash. What makes you stand out from that sea of people?

You’ll need strong purchase history, or know the right people. Sad but true.
