Explorer 214270

This photo is from Tourneau’s website, an ad for a 2012 Explorer Mark II, 214270.
This photo appears to have the white gold numerals at 3,6, and 9.

I thought the Mark II replaced the WG numerals with lume, and also ‘fixed’ the short hands. Am I wrong on that?

You are correct. If they are claiming this is a mark ii dial than the photo is definitely wrong.

Thanks..otherwise it seems accurately represented. And I love the price, it’s more than double the discounted price I got mine back then, and mine isn’t going anywhere.

They always show watches that are no longer in stock too.

As a purist, I consider the first, short hands model the Explorer, no further designation. After that, call them what you want.

That's a bit short sighted for a watch that was 36mm before the short hands Mk I came out.

The Mk II came out for 2016.
