Tried on a few mega cool non Rolex watches yesterday …

Been interested for some time in seeing an H Moser Streamliner with my own eyeballs for some time. Finally figured out where I could reasonably check one out. In fact there were 2! Which was cool because it gave me a good idea of how they fit for both case diameters. Gotta say I very much liked them both. The gold tourbillon was bananas. Had a very nice time with the friendly and funny staff. Further surprised by lots of other generally rad timepieces. Pics to follow

This one was casually sitting on a tray the whole time, waiting for me to give it a test run

These old football knees woulda never made it past whatever security was surely paying discrete attention. But I really did enjoy the easy going casual hospitality

This one is horologically incredible and it was mega fun to me that it was there on the tray, ready to be appreciated up close, and that the proprietors were so hospitality insistent that a pleb like yours truly try it on for size. It’s way above my pay grade. And it’s not technically available. And it’s not me I think even were these facts rendered null. But holy guacamole it’s a fine beautiful thing.

I especially liked how the tourbillon sorta just floats 3 dimensionally in the void

The green one has been on my mind and seeing how it fit against the larger models was my primary motivation for taking on the extra California traffic I would have to endure in order to see them both in person

I liked this one a lot more than I expected. The nominally larger size was less hugemongous than I anticipated and the little red bits pop nicely

I have avoided MB&F LMs for the longest time for its 44mm size (on paper). Got myself a 40mm LM101 first then tried on a couple of 44mm classic and EVOs. Now I am a fan. The lugs make the 44mm size much more wearable than it sounds. I think anyone with a 6.5"+ wrist should have no problem. I think the LMP EVO looks just right on you. The bezel-less case probably helped. The lugs also did not extend beyond your wrist.

Actually I had assumed Chet above was referring to the Streamliner in my reply. In fact, while the LMP was awesome, I did feel like it was conspicuously large on my 7.25”. Still badass as all hell.

Incidentally I thought the moser center seconds didn’t wear as small as folks say, felt and wore slightly bigger than a DD40 in my opinion, and only slightly smaller than the moser perpetual. Both nicely proportioned

I was! I find the Moser more appealing than the MB&F.

I only have a 7" wrist and I found the LMP EVO fits very well. But then of course everyone has a different look they want from their watch. Both LMP EVO and LM Sequential EVO are special pieces and I am looking forward to my 2024 arrival of the LM Sequential.

Super cool stuff. Mega cool! I love Moser. Started wearing my Pioneer Mega Cool and was fortunate to pick up a salmon dial Streamliner. I also tried on some of their other stunning pieces while in Hong Kong a few months ago.

Their dials are absolutely stunning. Love that perpetual calendar there. A really fun company making really great watches.

Thanks for sharing so many amazing pictures. My personal favorites are the MB&F, the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar (I love the enamel dial and tantalum combo), and the Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Lime Green. They all look great on you but the MB&F is the showstopper.

That Streamliner Perpetual has a great fit on you. It would be cool if they made that perpetual in the green, but honestly that grey dial is more versatile.

Thanks for sharing! H. Moser & Cie is really intriguing. Definitely on my next to consider list, but not sure if I could pull any of them off with my 6.5" wrist.

Thanks! I was and am interested in the green, and interested to see what comes next. Incidentally I’d say that if a sub or 40mm day date works for you then the 40mm Streamliner or pioneer would make you happy. I recently was considering this very choice and the Streamliner was sold while the seller offered a very fair discount on a new 40mm titanium pioneer which I am happy to say I purchased. Streamliner is still on the menu, probably more so now
