I think it will be back, along with a new diver hopefully. Their last diver was exceptional too.

Amazing divers. Great lume, Rolex grade bezel clicks, thin profile, ISO certified diver tested well beyond its 300m depth rating. Double barrels for consistent time keeping.

Cartier did a horrible job advertising/promoting both the diver and drive timepieces. Symptom of being part of the Richemont conglomerate. I would bet the drive will return with a quick change strap system. I’m less certain about the diver as the previous version was just so good I don’t see room for improvement.

I liked the Cartier de Drive ultra thin a lot. It was really handsome and had a very nice movement from Piaget as a base. I think the main issue was it just didn't find an audience. It's not round, its not square or rectangular and so it just didn't have find a following. However, I think it could eventually be a cult classic that people will search for. Perhaps it was just ahead of it's time.
